Third USDA Rural Development REAP Workshop Set for Bozeman

Name
Michael Dann
City
Bozeman
Release Date

The first two workshops about small business and agriculture energy efficiency and renewable energy projects were so popular the USDA Rural Development Montana agency has scheduled another workshop, this time in Bozeman.  It will be held on Wednesday, January 28, at 705 Osterman Drive, Suite A.

Because interest is so widespread and seating is limited, pre-registration is required. Write or call Craig Hildreth to reserve your place: craig.hildreth@mt.usda.gov, phone 406-585-2548.

The workshop will highlight Montana businesses that have realized a return on investment as a result of improvements made with the help of programs such as Rural Energy for America (REAP), utility commercial and rural electrical co-op rebates, and other state and local funding programs. Rural business owners, agriculture producers, and system installers will take away tools, templates, and business case studies to make their energy efficiency improvements or renewable energy system become a reality.

Along with representatives of USDA Rural Development and the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, NCAT Energy Engineer Vicki Lynne will be a presenter at the workshop.  Other speakers are from the City of Bozeman, Montana Department of Natural Resources, Prospera Business Network, Simms Fishing Gear, and Vigilante Electric.

Time is also set aside for attendees to talk directly with the experts about their specific projects and goals.

Join us on January 28th in Bozeman and learn how to put energy to work for you.
