USDA Rural Development State Director Maxine Moul today presented a plaque to Tammy Sherman, Lodgepole Village Clerk, for her excellence in performance.

“It is a great pleasure to meet the clerk who helped her village complete a $1.7 million wastewater project.  She also assisted the Village in obtaining a Special Evaluation Assistance for Rural Communities and Households Grant (SEARCH) from us to have a preliminary engineering report of the village’s water system.  Thank you for your dedicated service,” said Moul.

The North Platte Area Nebraska USDA staff nominated Tammy for the award “because she has been very instrumental in the Rural Development projects that have assisted in the village’s needs.  Today the village is planning a water project.  Tammy is very organized and receptive to all requests.  She has the greatest personality and the time and attention she gives to her job is to be commended,” said Community Programs Specialist Natalie Furrow.
