Village of Dix Receives $616,000 from USDA for New Water System

USDA Rural Development has awarded $616,000 to the Village of Dix for a new water system.

“USDA funds will be used to develop one new well, a new well house with a new well control system, and the replacement of water mains, and valves.  The dependable delivery of safe, clean water is essential to the sustainability of rural communities,” said Community Programs Specialist Natalie Furrow, USDA Rural Development. “This project will serve the Village of Dix for now and future years.”
