USDA Rural Development Pennsylvania State Director

Chris Hoffman serves as the State Director for Pennsylvania USDA Rural Development. A first‑generation swine and poultry farmer from Juniata County, he has dedicated more than two decades to advocating for farmers and strengthening rural communities. Throughout his career, Chris has worked to elevate diverse voices and advance practical solutions to the challenges facing agriculture today. Before joining USDA Rural Development, he was President of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and served on the Board of Directors for the American Farm Bureau.
