State Director of West Virginia
Kris Warner is the State Director of USDA Rural Development in West Virginia. Mr. Warner was appointed by the Trump administration in November 2017. He brings more than 30 years of experience in residential, commercial and energy development to the position. A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Mr. Warner brings to the position his experience as an entrepreneur, small business owner and community leader. He has a wealth of experience in working successfully with a variety of public- and private-sector leaders to improve our communities and build stronger, more diverse economies. He and his wife Joyce, a public school teacher, are the parents of five children. As State Director, Warner will use his leadership experience to oversee Rural Development programs in a customer-focused manner to promote prosperity in rural West Virginia.
