Travis Day
State Director for New Mexico
Travis Day serves as the State Director for Rural Development in New Mexico. A native New Mexican, growing up in the lovely geothermal hot springs formed town of Truth or Consequences. Upon graduating from New Mexico State University with his Science in Agriculture degree he began gaining a wealth of experience from the private, nonprofit, and government sectors. Focusing his career on creating opportunities for businesses and local governments. His leadership is grounded in a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of rural New Mexican communities. Prior to his appointment, Travis served as chairman of Sierra County Commission, where he championed local growth and community driven solutions.
