About the Regulatory Reform Initiative
In order to improve agency efficiency in program delivery, customer service and program utilization, the USDA Rural Development Innovation Center is working to develop a common platform to deliver four guaranteed loan programs.
Stakeholder input is vital to ensure a OneRD guarantee platform meets expectations, continues to support the mission of Rural Development, and avoids overly burdening agency customers. Therefore, the Innovation Center is hosting six listening sessions to allow for in-person comments from stakeholders.
The Innovation Center solicits your feedback on how to simplify, improve and enhance the delivery of RD guarantee loan programs. Examples of possible topics may include:
- Application Processes / Automation
- Online Application System
- Credit Evaluation
- Preferred Lender Program
- Capital Markets
- Lender Participation Approval (regulated vs. non-regulated)
- Lender Financing Trends
- Credit Elsewhere Requirements
Those unable to participate in person can do so electronically via ReadyTalk teleconferencing. Virtual participants will be in listen-only mode but will have the opportunity to submit comments via the chat function. For more information on call-in information and listening session locations, visit www.usda.gov/onerdguarantee.
Registration is required for all sessions by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. In your email, please provide your name, address, organization, and session location.
