Deb Anderson was named yesterday as the 2017 Nebraska Manager of the Year for Elderly Housing at Midtown Apartments in Pierce, Nebraska.
USDA Rural Development Multi-Family Housing Specialist Kim Fehringer presented Anderson with a United States of America flag that had been flown over the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. A plaque was also given to Anderson along with USDA Rural Development’s personal congratulations for receiving the award. Helping to honor Anderson at the complex were board members, tenants and others who presented her with flowers and cards of thanks for a job well done.
Deb Anderson has been at Midtown since 2011. She is described as caring, dedicated, and compassionate. She knows all tenants by first name and assists them with small tasks on a regular basis. She genuinely cares about not only the complex itself, but the tenants that reside there. Whether a tenant needs assistance tidying up their unit or if they need company, she commits her time to be there. Deb has completed many tasks to add a lot of curb appeal to the complex that give the tenants a home that they can be proud of and enjoy. She puts just as much care into the tasks reported to Rural Development. Deb is not afraid to ask for assistance with the budgets and is very thorough in her reports and certifications with everything completed ahead of schedule.
