USDA Rural Development has awarded $99,000 to the Nebraska Rural Water Association (NeRWA) in Wahoo, Nebraska.
“USDA funds will allow NeRWA to provide onsite technical assistance to small communities and to assist them in complying with state and national regulations pertaining to solid waste disposal,” said Community Programs Specialist Mary Sneckenberg, USDA Rural Development.
“We are looking forward to expanding our training and technical assistance to the small communities in rural Nebraska. We have a great working relationship with USDA and this is a great opportunity and partnership to assist Rural Nebraska,” said Tom Goulette, Nebraska Rural Water Association.
