Nebraska State Director Maxine Moul Names Tamela Stephens as USDA Rural Development Clerk of the Year

USDA Rural Development State Director Maxine Moul today presented a plaque to Tamela Stephens for her excellence in performance as the City Clerk for Pawnee City, Nebraska.

“I am honored to recognize the city clerk who serves Pawnee City in meeting the needs of its community.  USDA Rural Development is pleased to be a part of your water, sewer, and recycling projects.  I commend Tamela for working with the Assisted Living Foundation and the Library Foundation to assure that the community continues to grow to better serve its residents.  Thank you Tamela for your dedicated service,” said Moul.

“The Lincoln Area Nebraska USDA staff nominated Tamela for the award as she has utilized various USDA programs, both the Community Facilities and Water and Environmental, to accomplish projects needed in Pawnee City that will keep the community sustainable. She submits all documents that are requested with ease.  It has been a pleasure working with her over the years,” said Community Programs Specialists Janice Stopak and Luann Brown.
