New Clinic Coming to Davenport

USDA Rural Development announces the funding of $50,000 to the Davenport Community Foundation leveraged with $152,200 from the Foundation to construct a new clinic in Davenport, Nebraska.

“Our Foundation is extremely appreciative of being awarded this $50,000 grant for the clinic and are excited to begin construction on this project! The present building has been a vital part of Davenport for 40 years and the new clinic will continue to be an asset both now and in the future,” said President Jerry Brase, Davenport Community Foundation.  “Our Foundation is grateful to the Davenport community for their generous donations and support of the new medical clinic.”

“Funds will assist in the construction of a new clinic in downtown Davenport that will be leased to the Thayer County Hospital,” said USDA Rural Development Community Programs Specialist, Janice Stopak.  “It is very rewarding to help rural communities with their healthcare needs.”
