The Trump Administration appointed Anthony Linardos as the new State Director for USDA Rural Development in New Hampshire and Vermont. Linardos began his new role on Feb. 5, 2018, he will serve out of the jurisdiction’s Concord office.
“I am honored to be appointed by the Trump Administration to serve the hard-working rural residents of New Hampshire and Vermont,” said Linardos. “As State Director, my top priority is to implement Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue’s initiatives of increasing innovation, strengthening rural infrastructure and building local partnerships to increase prosperity in our rural communities.”
Linardos has extensive business development and executive management experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to his appointment, he directed operations for a long-term care pharmaceutical company providing healthcare services throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. He is an Army Reserve veteran with an MBA from Plymouth State University and a degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University. He lives with his wife and four children in Windham, NH, where the family owns and operates a small business.
Under the direction of Secretary Sonny Perdue, the USDA will always be facts-based and data-driven, with a decision-making mindset that is customer-focused.
