Investment to Help Tribal Colleges Make Infrastructure Improvements and Purchase Equipment
Bozeman, Mont., October 20, 2020 – The Trump Administration today announced that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $1,169,734 in the seven Tribal Colleges in rural Montana. Stone Child College in Box Elder was awarded $161,200 through USDA Rural Development’s Tribal College Initiative Grant program.

USDA Rural Development provides loans and grants to help expand economic opportunities and create jobs in rural areas. This assistance supports infrastructure improvements; business development; housing; community facilities such as schools, public safety and health care; and high-speed internet access in rural areas.
