WASHINGTON, Sept. 12, 2018 – Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett today announced that USDA is seeking applications for grants to repair water and wastewater systems damaged by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
Applications for $163,475,000 in supplemental grants will be accepted until all funds are exhausted.
To be eligible for funding, water and wastewater facilities must serve a rural area. Funds must be used for repairs or reimbursement for expenses incurred as a result of damage caused by the hurricanes.
