This Investment Provides Improved Healthcare for over 15,000 Pennsylvanians
(Harrisburg, Pa., May 14, 2026) – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Pennsylvania Acting State Director Jeremy Wilson has announced that Indiana Regional Medical Center will receive $1 million for a new Interventional Radiology Lab.
“Every person in a rural community deserves reliable access to high‑quality healthcare,” said Wilson. “We’re proud to support projects like this one that bring modern equipment and updated facilities closer to the people who rely on them.”
The investment of a $1 million Community Facilities Grant will support a major renovation of the hospital’s existing space to establish a new, state‑of‑the‑art 5,400‑square‑foot Interventional Radiology Lab. This advanced facility will offer precise, minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures, including tumor ablation, vascular interventions, and biopsies, providing patients with faster, safer access to critical diagnostic and treatment services.
