USDA Rural Development announces its funding of $67,500 to Kids Connection, Inc. at Fairbury, Nebraska that will be leveraged with funds from the recipient and the Department of Health and Human Services for a new roof.
“Kids Connection is ecstatic to be a recipient of funding from USDA and Health and Human Services for a new roof for our center,” said President Carmen Hinman, Blue Valley Community Action Partnership, which is facilitating the funding for the Center. “Needing a new roof for the center is long overdue and unfortunately we simply have not had the financial means to be able to do this. A new roof brings yet another level of excitement to the center, as we continue to work toward improving both the building and programming for our children and families.”
“Funds will construct a new complete roof structure over the existing roof system of the daycare center and maintenance building,” said USDA Rural Development Community Programs Specialist, Janice Stopak.
