Federal agency available to assist area residents with applications for home ownership and home repairs
Who: USDA-Rural Development (USDA-RD) Alaska
When: Thursday, December 8th from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
What: If you live in Nome and are interested in homeownership or repairs for your home, we invite you to join us to learn about Rural Development’s housing programs and get assistance with applying.
• Our Single Family Housing Direct Home Loans help low and very-low income applicants purchase a house. Depending on family income, the program may provide payment assistance to increase loan repayment ability.
• Our Single Family Housing Repair Loans and Grants is designed to provide assistance for very-low income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their homes.
