USDA Rural Development has awarded $80,500 to the Village of Barneston.  The funds will be used to repair the water transmission line under the Wolf Wild Cat Creek.  This is the only line that transmits water from the City of Wymore to the Village of Barneston.

“A dependable supply of water is essential both for health and safety,” said Community Programs Specialist Janice Stopak, USDA Rural Development.  “I am pleased that Rural Development could help the Village with its water transmission line repairs.”
