USDA Rural Development announces that the Village of Farwell, Nebraska is the recipient of a Special Evaluation Assistance for Rural Communities and Households (SEARCH) grant of $15,000.
“Rural Development funds will be used for the development of a Preliminary Engineering Review on the Village’s aging water system,” said USDA Rural Development Community Programs Specialist, Cherry Neverve.
The SEARCH program helps very small, financially distressed rural communities with predevelopment feasibility studies, design assistance, and technical assistance on proposed water and waste disposal projects.
