USDA Rural Development announces that the Village of Morse Bluff, Nebraska is the recipient of a Special Evaluation Assistance for Rural Communities and Households (SEARCH) grant of $22,000.
“Rural Development funds will be used for the development of a Preliminary Engineering Report on the Village’s water system,” said USDA Rural Development Community Programs Specialist, Janice Stopak.
“The Village of Morse Bluff is very thankful for this grant. It will help us to determine what is needed to improve our water system,” said Morse Bluff’s Chairman of the Board Randal Kremlacek.
The SEARCH program helps very small, financially distressed rural communities with predevelopment feasibility studies, design assistance, and technical assistance on proposed water and waste disposal projects.
