From Apartment to Home, Family of Five Finally Have Their Own Space
Charles and Adrienne Starks moved to Nebraska from Texas in August 2016 with their three children for Charles new job. When they arrived in Nebraska they rented a two bedroom apartment that lacked adequate space for a family of five plus a family pet. They wanted to plant their roots in Nebraska and buy their own home.
The Starks had applied for a Rural Development direct loan before moving to Nebraska to see if they would be eligible to buy a home. Charles income is supplemented by Adrienne and the children who receive a limited fixed income from social security. Their application was reviewed and they were deemed eligible to buy their home!
Today they are residing in their beautiful new home in Blair, Nebraska. They are enjoying the larger family space. Even better, their monthly payments for their home loan are less than they paid for rent on the small apartment. They feel blessed to have their own home and have the peace of mind to be in their own space thanks to qualifying for a USDA home loan.
