Ohio RD rocks and 'rolls' on Habitat for Humanity Build
In June, USDA Ohio Rural Development employees from the Findlay Area office and state office traveled to Bellefontaine (Logan County) to help prime and paint a Habitat for Humanity home for Wayne Wells, his wife Deborah, and their teenage son, Levi. Construction on the home, funded through USDA’s Single Family Direct loan program, got underway in April.
Ohio Rural Development employees often choose a "day on" (versus a "day off") in which to volunteer their housebuilding skills during National Homeownership Month.
The Wells' home will be dedicated in late July, marking Logan County Habitat for Humanity's 27th build.
