Scott County Drainage and Levee District
The Scott County Drainage and Levee District proposes to construct a new 40,000‑gallon‑per‑minute diesel‑powered pump station adjacent to the District’s existing pump buildings, a new pump intake structure, discharge piping routed over the Illinois River levee, and a trash rack spanning the canal to facilitate safe removal of debris before entering the pump station. The Project also includes fuel storage and containment, utilities, site grading, and associated support infrastructure. All components will be constructed on property owned by the District or on easements acquired for Project use.
