Brief Project Description: The Wild Turkey Solar Project (Project) is a proposed 5-megawatt solar photovoltaic facility located on a parcel in the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 102 North, Range 6 West, Town of Caledonia, Houston County, Minnesota that has been previously disturbed for agriculture activities. The current site is a flat, open field that would require minimal grading. The disturbance of land would be limited to the approximately 36-acre Project area during construction. The Applicant and MiEnergy Cooperative have an interconnection agreement that allows for the interconnection of the Wild Turkey Solar Project to the existing pole-mounted 12.74 kilovolt distribution line along S Prairie Dr.
