There are a number of ways to identify opportunities to sell biobased products to the federal government.
FedBizOpps
A large percentage of all federal government purchases are made through service and other types of contracts, so there are opportunities to market biobased products to federal contractors. FedBizOpps is a no-cost, single point-of-entry for federal procurement opportunities over $25,000. Consider using FedBizOpps to locate opportunities to sell to the federal government. Also consider using FedBizOpps to locate contractors who have recently won awards and will be purchasing biobased products to use in the execution of the contract. For example, search on recent contract awards using the keyword "biobased" to determine if recently awarded contracts require the contractor to purchase biobased products.
Subcontracting Opportunities
Subcontracting with federal government contractors as part of service contracts (e.g., janitorial or construction) may provide a significant opportunity to sell biobased products. Federal government contractors must meet the same requirements for the purchase and use of biobased products as the agencies themselves. Federal contractors may post subcontracting opportunities on SBA's SUB-Net or on FedBizOpps. Do not expect information in the directories to be biobased product specific. It may be necessary to locate contract opportunities that could include biobased products and then contact the contractor directly to discuss or propose the use of biobased products.

Ability One
AbilityOne, is a mandatory Federal procurement program that generates employment and training opportunities for people who are blind or have other severe disabilities. Through a national network of more than 600 non-profit agencies, Ability One offers products to the federal government. Ability One has been proactive in adding biobased products to their federal supply catalog. Consider contacting Ability One about opportunities to sell your product.
Federal Contract Opportunities
Federal contracting information is available at SAM.gov. For example, you can view recent award notices to determine companies receiving a contract that may require biobased products. Recently awarded service and construction contracts require the contractor to give a preference to purchasing biobased products. Contract information is provided in the Award Notice to get in touch with the contractor.
How To Use SAM.gov To Identify Opportunties
It may also prove useful to search for supply contracts in SAM.gov. Federal solicitations for supplies may require biobased products or be open to the purchase of biobased products. Select the appropriate Product and Service code and then search by product or service code in SAM.gov.
