USDA announces telemedicine grant to benefit Warren, Logan, Todd counties

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Kentucky State Director Travis T. Burton today announced USDA awarded a $476,350 telemedicine grant to Med Center Health.

“Telemedicine is a great advancement in health care delivery for rural Kentucky,” said Burton. “This is a great day for the residents of Warren, Logan, and Todd counties. Thanks to the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Rollins, USDA Rural Development continues to help rural communities improve their overall health through investments like this.”

US Department of Agriculture Celebrates Completion of Sampson Community College Expansion

The $2.3 million investment will expand instruction options and community engagement.

CLINTON, N.C., January 21, 2026 — The U.S. Department of Agriculture has invested $2.3 million through a Rural Development Community Facilities Grant to build a 10,000 square foot expansion to Activities Building at Sampson Community College.

Neal Robbins, Deputy Under Secretary for Rural Development, and Robert Hosford, Rural Development State Director, attended the official ribbon cutting at the school’s Clinton campus on Wednesday.
