Project Tundra

Minnkota Power Cooperative proposes the construction of a CO2 storage facility and its infrastructure at the existing Milton R. Young coal-fired power plant in Oliver County, North Dakota The project consists of the carbon capture facility, a 0.5-mile-long CO2 flowline; Class VI injection wells (up to three); Class I disposal wells (up to two); one underground source of drinking water (USDW) monitoring well; and deep subsurface monitoring wells (up to two).

Rural Development’s $1million investment will assist first responders in providing essential services for residents of Jones County

TRENTON, North Carolina-May 29, 2025- USDA Rural Development State Director Robert Hosford along with representatives from North Carolina Congressional offices and Jones County leadership participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Jones County emergency medical services building in Trenton today.

USDA Rural Development Nevada Celebrates Dedication Ceremony of West Wendover Fire Station

WEST WENDOVER, Nev., May 28, 2025 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Nevada State Director Alida Ceballos recently represented the agency at the long-awaited dedication of the City of West Wendover Fire Station and Emergency Operations Center. USDA Rural Development was the primary funding partner for this project, providing an $8.9 million loan and a $200,000 grant through the Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program.

Teeple Creek Renewables

The Project is a proposed 2.5-megawatt solar photovoltaic facility located on a 20-acre parcel that has been previously disturbed for agriculture activities. The Project is located in the Ludlow Township, Allamakee County, Iowa.
