USDA Invests Nearly $2 Million to Expand Markets for Several Montana Rural Small Businesses and Agricultural Producers

Bozeman, Mont., Nov. 29, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development in Montana State Director Kathleen Willims announced today an investment of nearly $2 million in nine Montana small businesses and agricultural producers to help expand markets and create economic opportunities in rural areas across the state.

CHAMPAIGN, IL Nov 6th, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) IL State Director Betsy Dirksen Londrigan today announced USDA Rural Development is awarding an additional $10 million in loans and grants to help agricultural producers and rural business owners make energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy investments to lower energy costs, generate new income, and strengthen the resiliency of their operations.

CASPER, Wyo., Nov. 2, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) Wyoming State Director Glenn Pauley today announced that USDA is awarding nearly $145,000 in grants to help five agricultural producers and rural small business owners make energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy investments to lower energy costs, generate new income and strengthen the resiliency of their operations.
