USDA Rural Development announced the 2025 Lenders of the Year today, to recognize the work of its top lending partners supporting rural homeownership. These lenders helped rural families and individuals buy homes across the nation, including in New York last year through USDA Rural Development’s Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program.
“We are pleased to announce our top five guaranteed rural housing Lenders of the Year in New York,” said USDA Rural Development New York State Director Richard Mayfield. “While we spotlight the top five lenders in our state - who collectively represent more than $20 million in obligations - it is important to also mention we are fortunate to have more than 40 guaranteed lenders assisting us in reaching these rural individuals and families. These statewide obligations, totaling more than $43 million represent a downpayment for the future that will deliver on the Trump Administration’s commitment to rural prosperity.”
