The Majestic, a senior living facility, lives up to its name as a large farmhouse styled home surrounded by the Bitterroot Mountains. In the rural landscape of Corvallis, Montana, residents maintain a rural lifestyle while receiving the assistance and care they need. Brandon Hart and his wife Cindy dreamed up this new home to provide a needed service for the community.

While rural senior care exists, “There is still a huge need,” stated Mr. Hart, “the ones in rural areas are all full and have waitlists.” With the assistance of funding through USDA’s Intermediary Relending Program, distributed through Ravalli County Economic Development Authority, the Harts purchased 10 acres, transforming it from the ground up into The Majestic Senior Living Facility.

Mr. Hart spent much of his life working within this industry, traveling since the age of five with his mom to aid those in hospice. Mr. Hart stated, “This is what we were supposed to do, take care of seniors.” The Harts dedicate their life to help serve their community and residents as they live on site of The Majestic.

When you step foot into the facility you enter a home with vaulted ceilings, natural light, and the smells of fresh baked goods lofting from the oven. In this welcoming environment, many residents have guests visiting in their room or are enjoying conversations with staff. “This becomes their family and it’s really important to foster that,” mentioned Jessie. “It’s part of why it looks like a home.” The facility has 14 suites for residents who enjoy the rural setting. Each private room has been curated to match the esthetic of the home while maintaining all needed accommodations, including for residents’ pets.

The Majestic Senior Living Facility provides the Bitterroot Valley with an option for residents to remain in a familiar rural setting. Residents have views of the Bitterroot Mountains and rolling pastures of working farmland. The Hart family has created something truly special within this facility.
