“Before Legacy Estate, our community faced a critical shortage of modern long-term care facilities. Aging infrastructure and limited resources compelled residents to seek care elsewhere, leaving families fragmented and our healthcare system strained,” said Nikki Stark. Recognizing this pressing need, Nikki Stark and Misty Hill embarked on a mission to bridge the gap in long-term care services and elevate the standard of living for elderly population.

With the support of local banker, Jeff Stewart, Comanche County Consolidated Hospital District (CCCHD) received the financial backing needed through the USDA Community Facilities Guaranteed Loan Program to realize their vision. USDA Rural Development’s commitment to rural communities and infrastructure investments proved instrumental in kickstarting this transformative initiative.

With 76 units, 52 of those are completely private suites with private bathrooms, state-of-the-art therapy facilities, and multigenerational communal spaces, Legacy Estate sets a new standard for long-term care.
