Originally from Pennsylvania, she’s a self-proclaimed “Jersey girl” who says she can’t help herself when it comes to helping others.

Shady Hills Combined Cycle Facility (SHCCF Project)
Under the Rural Electrification Act of 1936, as amended, the Rural Utilities Service (RUS), is considering a request for loan financing from Seminole Electric Cooperative Inc. to construct a new 573-megawatt state-of-the-art, natural gas-fired 573 megawatt (MW) (winter), combined-cycle generating facility and associated 230-kV interconnection tie-line. The Shady Hills Combined Cycle Facility (SHCCF Project) is proposed for ~14 acres on land owned by Shady Hills Energy Center, L.L.C. (SHEC) in Shady Hills, Pasco County, Florida.

The parallels between the push to power rural homes in the 1930’s and the challenge of bringing broadband to remote areas of the state were undeniable as the company expanded its reach into telecommunications.
