USDA announces $73.8M investment in Livingston Hospital

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Kentucky State Director Travis T. Burton and U.S. Congressman James Comer today announced USDA is investing $73.8 million to help Livingston Hospital expand.

“Those who live in rural Kentucky should not have subpar health care,” said Burton. “Thanks to the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Rollins, USDA Rural Development is proud to be a partner to rural hospitals across the Commonwealth. By working together, we can move the needle on overall health outcomes in rural Kentucky.”

USDA announces investment in ambulance equipment

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Kentucky State Director Travis T. Burton and U.S. Congressman James Comer today announced USDA is investing $37,300 to help KenTenn EMS upgrade ambulance equipment.

“First responders in rural Kentucky face quite a few challenges,” said Burton. “That’s why it’s important they have the right equipment. Thanks to the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Rollins, USDA Rural Development continues to invest in first responders across the Commonwealth to help keep our rural communities safe.”

USDA Rural Development invests additional $703,000 to update Burnett Township wastewater facility

Stevens Point, Wis., Dec.1, 2025 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) State Director Andrew C. Iverson announced today that the Burnett Sanitary District #1 will use a USDA RD grant of $703,000 to install a new lift station and force main sewer lateral in Burnett Township, Wisconsin. These improvements will help maintain the water system used by all residents and businesses in the town of Burnett, Wisconsin.

USDA Rural Development invests $105 million to help St. Croix Regional Medical Center construct a critical access hospital facility

Stevens Point, Wis., Nov. 26, 2025 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) State Director Andrew C. Iverson announced St. Croix Regional Medical Center will receive $105 million to construct a 130,000-square-foot replacement critical access hospital facility in St. Croix Falls. The funding includes a $95,000,000 direct loan and a $10,000,000 guaranteed loan.

USDA Rural Development invests $1 million to help Sailer Food Market and Meat Processing, Inc. in Wilson expand into snack meats

Stevens Point, Wis., Nov. 24, 2025 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) State Director Andrew C. Iverson announced today that St. Croix Electric Cooperative received a $1 million loan to re-lend to Sailer Food Market and Meat Processing, Inc. in Wilson. The company will use the funds to expand their meat processing operation into the snack meats market.

The project will save 28 jobs and create an additional five jobs.

Secretary Rollins Announces Availability of $7 million for Advanced Biofuel Production

WASHINGTON, Nov. 21, 2025 – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins today announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture is making $7 million in payments available to advanced biofuel producers nationwide through the Advanced Biofuel Producer Payment Program, which is a provision of the One Big Beautiful Bill.

USDA Awards Grant and Loan for Critical Tuba City Wastewater Treatment Plant

PHOENIX, Sept. 29, 2025 – USDA Rural Development Arizona State Director Lori Urban today announced the agency is investing $68,619,000 in loan and grant funds to the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority to improve the wastewater treatment facility in Tuba City.

“Thousands of Arizona families will benefit from this project.  We are proud to partner with the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority to ensure this community has a safe wastewater treatment facility and can prevent further contamination of the area,” said Urban.
