(Trenton, Ga., May 28, 2026) – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Georgia State Director Joyce White today announced a $406,000.00 grant to replace two ambulances in Dade County, Georgia. The project was funded through Congressionally Directed Spending with USDA’s Community Facilities Grant Program.

Investment will Enhance Services for Nearly 4,000 People

(Stevens Point, Wis., July 6, 2026) – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Wisconsin State Director Andrew C. Iverson announced today that the agency is awarding the city of Lancaster with a $1.125 million grant to renovate its existing fire and rescue station. The building is the headquarters for the Lancaster Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services. Nearly 4,000 rural Wisconsinites will benefit from the project.

Iverson announced today that the agency is awarding the city of Prairie du Chien with a nearly $5 million grant for the construction of a new joint facility for the police and fire departments. Once completed, this project will enhance the coordination between the departments and improve public safety for more than 5,500 people.
