Regulations and Guidance

All Federal regulations can be found at the Code of Federal Regulations.  Customers can also search, review, and submit comments on Federal documents that are open for comment and published in the Federal Register by going to Regulations.gov. 

The following sections include links to Rural Development Federal Register Publications, regulations, guidance documents and Bulletins:

  • Federal Register Publications - Documents published within the last year in the Federal Register.
  • Program Regulations - Rules that are located in the Code of Federal Regulations by program area.
  • Guidance Documents - Agency statements of general applicability that sets forth a policy on a statutory, regulatory, or technical issue, or an interpretation of a statue or regulation.
  • Bulletins - Agency documents, usually technical in nature, that provide guidance to our stakeholders.
