Dane Maxwell is a Marine Corps veteran, retired law enforcement officer, businessman, former mayor, and Public Service Commissioner.

As a successful entrepreneur of two national businesses, Maxwell has decades of experience in solving problems in the private sector and brings this experience to USDA Rural Development where he'll continue to support the state's producers and economic development initiatives that will make a positive impact in the State of Mississippi.
