Patrick Jaynes

Patrick Jaynes serves as USDA Rural Development State Director for Tennessee.

As Senior Consultant for Nashville, TN based, Jigsaw Consulting, Patrick engaged in local, state, and federal government relations, as well as high-level communication and strategic business consulting. He helped provide clients with workable strategies both in business development and legislative strategies. 

Prior to his work with Jigsaw, Patrick served for 18 years as Deputy Chief of Staff and State Director with U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander.  He oversaw and led the staffing and operation of six statewide Tennessee offices which provided constituent services, fieldwork, and state scheduling. 

Before the U.S. Senate, Patrick worked as Public Relations Director and Sponsor Marketing with the International Hot Rod Association Championship Drag Racing.

Patrick also assists with his family farm in East Tennessee which produces cattle, hay and soybeans. He is a graduate of Tusculum University and lives outside Knoxville, TN with his wife Jill.
