
Thomas Harrison
State Director
Thomas (Tyler) Harrison serves as the Wyoming Rural Development State Director. Most recently, Tyler served as Field Representative and Veteran’s Liaison for Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, WY-AL. He previously served over 25 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as an intelligence officer and project manager. Tyler has led multi-agency programs, intelligence operations, and complex projects in the United States and abroad. He earned his master’s degree in international relations and conflict resolution with concentration in international and transnational security from American Military University. His bachelor’s degree is in organizational leadership from Chapman University.
Tyler is a fourth generation Wyomingite, born in Sheridan, Wyoming. Tyler has served in six states and three countries as a diplomat. His hobbies include fishing, boating, shooting, and spending time with family. Tyler is married to Kim Harrison (Kilian) and has three children and two grandchildren.
