United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Deputy Under Secretary for Rural Development Bette Brand today announced that USDA partnered with 181 commercial lenders to invest $2.1 billion in rural communities and businesses in fiscal year (FY) 2020. Below is a list of USDA Rural Development’s top commercial lending partners during fiscal year FY 2020.

Live Oak Banking Company partnered with USDA to invest $345 million in rural communities during FY 2020. These investments helped 34 rural businesses acquire essential working capital through USDA’s Business and Industry (B&I) Loan Guarantee Program, 45 rural businesses take advantage of more efficient and renewable energy sources through USDA’s Rural Energy for America Loan Guarantee Program, five rural communities modernize their water and waste water infrastructure through USDA’s Water and Environmental Programs, and three rural communities build or modernize their local essential community facilities through USDA’s Community Facilities Loan Guarantee Program

Greater Nevada Credit Union partnered with USDA to invest $295 million in rural communities during FY 2020. These investments helped 19 rural businesses acquire essential working capital through USDA’s Business and Industry (B&I) Loan Guarantee Program.

North Avenue Capital LLC partnered with USDA to invest $138 million in rural communities during FY 2020. These investments helped 24 rural businesses acquire essential working capital through USDA’s Business and Industry (B&I) Loan Guarantee Program.

Crestmark, a Division of Metabank, partnered with USDA to invest $122 million in rural communities during FY 2020. These investments helped seven rural businesses acquire essential working capital through USDA’s Business and Industry (B&I) Loan Guarantee Program, and 12 rural businesses take advantage of more efficient and renewable energy sources through USDA’s Rural Energy for America Loan Guarantee Program.
