Rural Water District No. 2 Boyd County Receives Loan from USDA Rural Development to Connect 70 More Users

USDA Rural Development awarded $853,500 to the Rural Water District (RWD) No. 2 Boyd County, Nebraska.  The RWD will provide leveraged funds of $550,000.  The funds will be used to expand and extend the RWD service area to connect 70 new users.

"The Board and I are excited at the prospect of supplying more people with good, clean water," said Chairperson Richard Boettcher, RWD No. 2.

“Helping to bring quality and dependable water to more rural residents is part of USDA's mission.  USDA is pleased to help RWD No. 2 in expanding its service area," said Community Programs Specialist Bert Mues, USDA Rural Development.
