BOZEMAN, December 1st 2014 – USDA Rural Development Montana State Director Anthony “Tony” Preite will be in Glendive on Wednesday, December 10th, to host a Town Hall Meeting to present resources available to the Bakken region through Federal, State and private programs.
Presenting along with USDA Rural Development will be the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Montana Department of Commerce, Eastern Montana Impact Coalition, Native American Development Corporation, Economic Development Administration and Mid-Rivers Communications.

WHAT: Bakken Region Town Hall Meeting
WHERE: Mid-Rivers Communications, 213 W. Benham Street, Glendive, Montana
WHEN: Wednesday, December 10th – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHY: To assist in meeting the needs of Bakken region communities with the
growing infrastructure issues arising from the rapid growth and rise in the
cost of living.
Detailed presentations on funding programs will be followed by questions and answers. One-on-one consultation with program experts will also be available.
The USDA-Rural Development MT State Director and staff will be available to speak with media following the meeting.
The USDA Rural Development invested more than $302,000,000 in Montana during FY 14. Over the last six years USDA Rural Development has provided Montana with more than $2.1 Billion in funding.
