Diana Smith joined USDA Rural Development in 2003.  Much of Diana’s career with the Agency has been in Human Resource as HR Manager before accepting the role of Administrative Programs Director in Mississippi which later transitioned to Associate Director in Mississippi and later to Louisiana.

Prior to her tenure with Rural Development, Diana served in Human Resources for the Veterans Affairs Administration and for the Department of the Army.  Diana graduated from the College of Business, El Paso, Texas.
