Mark Hultgren
Acting State Director for Missouri
Mark Hultgren is a native Missourian born and raised in rural Greene County. He brings decades of rural community engagement and agriculture advocacy experience to USDA Rural Development. His career with the USDA started in October 2003 with the Farm Service Agency, and in September 2008, he became the USDA Rural Development Area Director for Southwest Missouri. He was selected to be the Deputy State Director in 2023. Mark is an Agriculture Business graduate from Missouri State University (then Southwest Missouri State University) and enjoys spending time on his farm and waterfowl hunting with his adult children. Recently, Mark and his wife, Dana, became proud grandparents.
