U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Oklahoma State Director Kenneth Corn announced today that DRH Health recently completed renovations of the Ringling Family Care Clinic, which had received $312,700 in grant funding to renovate the space.

Funding was part of the Emergency Rural Health Care Grants, which was made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act. More than $11 million in healthcare investments were made in Oklahoma utilizing Emergency Rural Health Care Grants funding rural hospital authorities, first responders and tribal nations.

“The Ringling Family Care Clinic renovation project is a perfect example of President Biden following through on his promise that it should not matter what your zip code states as all Americans deserve an opportunity to live and grow in the communities they are from,” Corn said. “Instead of a community seeing access to healthcare slip away they are now getting improved access to care and putting down roots to allow this community to grow and prosper, because the President believes projects like Ringling matter for the long-term growth and prosperity of our nation.”

USDA touches the lives of all Americans each day in so many positive ways. Under the leadership of the Biden-Harris Administration, USDA is transforming America’s food system with a greater focus on more resilient local and regional food production, fairer markets for all producers, ensuring access to safe, healthy and nutritious food in all communities, building new markets and streams of income for farmers and producers using climate-smart food and forestry practices, making historic investments in infrastructure and clean energy capabilities in rural America, and committing to equity across the Department by removing systemic barriers and building a workforce more representative of America.
