DOVER, Del., April 23, 2024 – Today, in honor of Earth Day 2024, Agriculture Deputy Secretary Xochitl Torres Small announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is funding a dozen clean energy projects to lower energy bills, expand access to domestic biofuels and create jobs and new market opportunities for Delaware and Maryland farmers, ranchers and agricultural producers.

In honor of Earth Day 2024, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Florida State Director Lakeisha Hood Moїse announced today that USDA is funding clean energy projects to help lower energy bills, expand access to affordable fuels, and create jobs across Florida. 

“The Biden-Harris Administration and USDA are committed to expanding access to modern clean energy systems and fueling options that strengthen the nation’s energy independence while creating good-paying jobs and saving people money,” Hood Moїse said.

Twenty Maine businesses across ten counties awarded $2.1M 

Bangor, April 23, 2024 – Today, in honor of Earth Day 2024, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Maine State Director Rhiannon Hampson announced that USDA is awarding $2.1M in grants to Maine farms and rural small businesses in ten counties. The grants will help pay for projects that will lower energy costs for the businesses and increase their resilience.

USDA Invests $2.2 Million in Clean Energy to Strengthen Wisconsin Farms and Businesses

STEVENS POINT, Wisc., April 5, 2024 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Wisconsin State Director Julie Lassa today announced that USDA is investing $2.2 million towards 23 renewable energy projects in Wisconsin to lower energy costs, generate new income and create jobs for U.S. farmers, agricultural producers and rural small businesses.
