Alexandria, LA, Jan. 22, 2024– USDA Rural Development is pleased to announce that the application window for the FY'24 Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program is now open.
The VAPG program, administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), aims to assist agricultural producers in adding value to their products through the development of new markets, marketing strategies, and innovative value-added enterprises. Through financial support, the program aims to enhance the viability and profitability of agricultural operations, promoting sustainable economic growth in rural communities.
To apply for the FY'24 VAPG program, eligible applicants must submit their applications by the respective deadlines. Paper applications must be received no later than April 16, 2024, while electronic applications through grants.gov are due by April 11, 2024.
