200 USDA-Funded Projects Create Economic Opportunity in Underserved Rural and Native American Communities

STEVENS POINT, Wisc., Dec. 13, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development State Director for Wisconsin Julie Lassa announced four projects to improve infrastructure, housing, and economic conditions for underserved rural and Native American communities.

USDA Invests $8.2 Million to Create Economic and Educational Opportunities in Underserved Rural and Tribal Montana Communities

Bozeman, Mont., Dec. 12, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development in Montana State Director Kathleen Williams today announced more than $8.2 million in grant awards to nine underserved and Tribal communities in Montana. These awards are designed to help improve infrastructure, housing, and educational opportunities.  

Two USDA-Funded Projects Create Economic Opportunity in Underserved Rural and Native American Communities in Arizona

PHOENIX, Dec. 11, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development State Director Charlene Fernandez today announced two projects totaling over $750,000 to improve infrastructure in Arizona’s fully accredited Tribal Colleges, fostering economic and educational opportunities in their surrounding communities.

200 USDA-Funded Projects Create Economic Opportunity in Underserved Rural and Native American Communities

WINTERHAVEN, Calif., Dec. 11, 2023 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Deputy Under Secretary Farah Ahmad today announced more than 200 projects to improve infrastructure, housing and economic conditions for underserved rural and Native American communities. These projects are funded by an $80.1 million investment from USDA.
