Gainesville, FLA, Dec. 10, 2019 – State Director for Rural Development Philip Leary, AICP today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $699,000 to help farmers, ag producers and rural-based businesses lower energy costs. The State of Florida is providing nine awards to applicants throughout the state, USDA is providing the funding through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).

Projects will Improve Wastewater Facility, a Master Lift Station, Address Public Health and Sanitation, and Environmental Issues
Gainesville, Florida, November 19, 2019 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development State Director, Phil Leary, AICP today announced that the USDA is investing $8,898,000 in loan and $7,950,650 in grant for a wastewater treatment facility and a master lift station in the two rural communities of Bradford and Orange counties. USDA is funding the projects through the Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant program.
