Investments Will Make Rural Communities More Energy Independent and Resilient
COLUMBIA, MO, August 19, 2021 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Missouri Acting State Director D Clark Thomas announced the agency is investing $5,178,191 to build infrastructure to expand the availability of higher-blend renewable biofuels by 235,810,915 million gallons annually in Missouri.
U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Under Secretary for Rural Development Bette Brand was in western Ohio today to celebrate a recent $23,750 Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP) grant to Richmond, Indiana-based Harvest Land Cooperative.
Investment Expected to Increase Biofuel Sales by 7.9 Million Gallons Annually
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, Oct. 29, 2020 – U.S. Department of Agriculture Administrator of the Rural Business-Cooperative Service Rebeckah Freeman Adcock was in central Missouri today to celebrate Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP) grants recently awarded to six businesses that serve rural Missourians.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development is accepting applications for grants to expand the sale and availability of biodiesel and ethanol fuels. Expanding the sale of biofuels will provide consumers with more choices when they fill up at the pump, including environmentally-friendly fuel with decreased emissions, driving demand for our farmers and improving the air we breathe.
WASHINGTON, Jan. 16, 2020 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking public input to help with the creation of the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP), a new program that will expand the availability of domestic ethanol and biodiesel by incentivizing the expansion of sales of renewable fuels.
