United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) State Director Bob Morgan today announced that USDA is investing more than $32 million to help a diverse rural Pennsylvania keep resources and wealth right at home through job training, business expansion and technical assistance.

USDA is Seeking Applications for Funding to Support Rural Microenterprises

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development is accepting applications for loans and grants to support rural microenterprises.

USDA's Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program (RMAP) provides loans of $50,000 to $500,000 to establish rural microloan revolving funds that help microenterprises start up or expand. The revolving funds may be used to provide working capital, refinance debt, purchase equipment and supplies, or improve real estate.

USDA Awards $32 Million in Loans and Grants Nationwide to Support Rural Economic Development, Funding Supports Microentrepreneurs in Rural Oregon

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has awarded $32 million in loans and grants nationwide that will promote economic development in more than 80 rural American communities, including $425,000 to support microentrepreneurs in rural Oregon, announced State Director Vicki Walker today.
